A meeting of the University's Academic Council was held today at Sadriddin Aini Tajik State Pedagogical University with the participation of Rector Akhliddin Ibodullozoda, Head of the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan Saidzoda Hikmatullo, deputy rectors, heads of departments and departments, deans, heads of other structures, and faculty.

First, the rector of Sadriddin Aini Akhliddin Ibodullozoda Tajik State Pedagogical University reported on the university's activities in 2024 and, noting a number of significant successes in various fields of activity of this educational institution, called the past year a year of achievements, creation, strengthening and expansion of international relations for the university.

In particular, satisfaction was expressed that the number of recipients of scholarships with honors increased from 182 to 407, and academic groups with Russian as the language of instruction-from 18 to 31, for the first time 89 specialties operating at the university have passed international institutional accreditation by the Chinese Association of Higher Education of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Chinese Service Center for International Scientific Exchange. under the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.

In addition, it was noted that in 2024, the opening of a new 5–storey academic building with the participation of the founder of peace and national unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, and a new 2-storey building for trainees in the Agrobiolaboratory University Park in the Romit Gorge is aimed at creating favorable conditions for education and upbringing. and arousing students' interest in science.

In his speech, Saidzoda Hikmatullo, Head of the Department of Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, expressed the constant support and concern of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in the field of education and science and effectively expressed the role of this institution in training highly qualified specialists, scientific and pedagogical staff and participation in implementation of the country's important goals.

Tasks for 2025 were also defined at the meeting, and responsible persons were tasked with improving the quality of education and upbringing, the scientific potential of the university, developing cooperation with scientific institutions in foreign countries, training specialists who meet the requirements of the time, and other issues.
