In the village of Safedtundak, part of the Askalon rural community in the Rasht District, Primary School No. 103, which had been damaged by an earthquake, was completely rebuilt and officially opened for use.

This important initiative was carried out with financial support from the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after S. Ayni, the Tajik Technical University named after academician M. Osimi, the Tajik Agrarian University named after Sh. Shohtemur, and the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Chairperson of the Rasht District, Zarina Fuzaylsho Idizoda; the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Badridin Sangali Muzaffarzoda; the Rector of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after S. Ayni, Ahliddin Ibodullozoda; as well as rectors of other universities and other officials.

The school plays an important role in expanding access to education and improving the quality of learning in the region. It provides an opportunity for students to be educated in a spirit of self-awareness, national pride, and a commitment to learning.
