On April 15, 2026, on the occasion of the 148th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding literary scholar, researcher, poet, and writer, Hero of Tajikistan — Sadriddin Ayni, a series of cultural events were held by the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni.

At the initiative of the university rector, Ahliddin Ibodullozoda, a wreath-laying ceremony took place at the monument and the grave of the ustod, located in the cultural and recreational park named after Sadriddin Ayni.

The event was attended by the Vice-Rector for Research, Rajabzoda Sirojiddin, faculty deans, as well as professors and students of the Faculty of Tajik Philology.

During the event, it was noted that Sadriddin Ayni, as the founder of modern Tajik literature, made a significant contribution to the development of culture and national identity.

After the wreath-laying ceremony and visiting the resting place of ustod Ayni, a commemorative gathering was held at the Literary Museum of Sadriddin Ayni. Within its framework, participants recited poems and excerpts from his rich literary heritage, emphasizing his unique role in the formation of modern Tajik literature.

It should be noted that Sadriddin Ayni is one of the key figures in the history of Tajik literature, and his literary legacy continues to hold great cultural and spiritual value to this day.
