This morning, on the occasion of the Capital City Day of the Republic of Tajikistan — the city of Dushanbe, the 16th International Dushanbe Half Marathon was held.

This year, athletes from more than 20 countries took part in the sporting event, and the winners were awarded cash prizes.

In this important sporting event, more than 400 teachers, staff members, and students from the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni actively participated, demonstrating a high spirit of patriotism and pride in the country’s capital, and making a significant contribution to its organization.

The International Dushanbe Half Marathon has become one of the major sporting events of the capital, contributing to the strengthening of friendship, the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, and the enhancement of the international reputation of the city of Dushanbe.
