THE LAUNCH OF THE GRAND UNIVERSITY-WIDE CAMPAIGN
“BEAUTY — A REFLECTION OF NATIONAL IDENTITY,”
DEDICATED TO MAJOR NATIONAL CELEBRATIONS
In the courtyard of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni, the cultural and educational campaign “Beauty — a Reflection of National Identity” was launched with special grandeur.
This meaningful event is being held as part of educational initiatives
dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 95th anniversary of the university’s founding. It took place in the university courtyard, as well as in parks and gardens of the city of Dushanbe, in a festive atmosphere with the active participation of students and teachers, marked by a strong sense of self-awareness and national pride.
On the opening day, the Faculty of Psychology and Biology presented a vibrant and engaging program, creating a beautiful display of Tajik aesthetics. The showcase of national clothing—chakan, atlas, adras, and gold-embroidered garments—transformed the university grounds into a living reflection of the thousand-year-old culture of the Tajik people. Every color, every pattern, and every stitch seemed to tell a page of the nation’s living history.
The main goal of this cultural initiative is not only to demonstrate beauty, but also to inspire spiritual awakening and revive the national spirit. It connects young people with their cultural roots, fostering pride in their national identity and love for their ancestral heritage. Here, traditional clothing is presented as a silent language of history, identity, and authentic beauty.
The university leadership considers such initiatives an important element in educating a conscious, enlightened, and truly patriotic generation. In their view, reviving national values and honoring ancestral heritage is the best way to strengthen unity, self-awareness, and a sense of responsibility toward the الوطن. Events like this illuminate the hearts of young people with knowledge, cultural beauty, and national pride.
According to the approved schedule, the event will continue with special splendor until the Independence Day celebrations, with the participation of cultured women and talented female students from all faculties.
