On May 4, 2026, at the initiative of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni, the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Tajikistan, and the Goethe-Institut in Tashkent, a forum of German language teachers was organized and held in the ceremonial hall of the country’s leading pedagogical university.

Teachers of the German language from across the Republic of Tajikistan took part in this event to improve their professional qualifications.

It should be noted that this forum is held annually in the Republic of Tajikistan, and its main goal is to enhance the professional level of German language teachers.

The purpose of the event is to develop language skills and improve teachers’ methodological, cultural, geographical, and linguistic knowledge.

Based on the instructions and guidance of the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, the study of foreign languages has become more active in recent years in the Republic of Tajikistan, and young people, as well as other segments of society, have increasingly engaged in learning foreign languages.

The organization and holding of such events contribute to strengthening interstate relations in the fields of education and culture, as well as improving the level of foreign language education in the Republic of Tajikistan.
