We are pleased to announce the publication of the textbook “Written Translation”, authored by researchers and educators M. M. Komilov and N. M. Davlatzoda.

The textbook is intended for students of higher education institutions and was recommended for publication by the Collegium of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan on January 29, 2026 (Resolution No. 2/14).

The book addresses key issues in the theory and practice of written translation, including the specific features of translating from English into Tajik, lexical, grammatical, and stylistic challenges of translation, as well as approaches to overcoming them. In addition, it contains questions, practical exercises, and a variety of translation samples designed to strengthen students’ knowledge and practical skills.

The textbook is based on the authors’ extensive teaching experience and scholarly research and can serve as a valuable resource for undergraduate and graduate students, doctoral candidates, educators, and all those interested in translation studies.

The publication of “Written Translation” represents a significant contribution to the development of translation education and the training of highly qualified translation specialists in the Republic of Tajikistan.
