On July 3, 2026, a delegation from the M.V. Lomonosov Northern (Arctic) Federal University of the Russian Federation, headed by Ms. P.S. Golomidova, Head of the Department for the Development of Education Export, visited the University and held a meeting with its leadership.

During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to expanding academic and scientific cooperation, implementing joint projects, and identifying priority areas for future collaboration.

It should be noted that this meeting was held in accordance with the agreements reached following the participation of representatives of the Northern (Arctic) Federal University in the Third International Festival of Higher Education Institutions of Foreign Countries, which took place in April 2026.

The parties also discussed the prospects for bilateral cooperation, the development of joint master's degree programs, the promotion of academic mobility for students and faculty members, as well as the organization of joint conferences and seminars.

The meeting marked an important step toward strengthening academic and scientific partnership between higher education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Russian Federation.
