DEVELOPMENT OF INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

Today representatives of the Pskov State University of the Russian Federation visited the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Aini to strengthen two-way cooperation. The Pskov State University delegation included Olga Serova - Vice-rector for academic affairs, professor; Igor Savrievich Savriev - Coordinator of the Cooperation between Pskov State University and the Republic of Tajikistan; Dmitry Sergeevich Lobarov - Executive secretary of the Pskov State University admission committee. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the TSPU named after S. Aini: A. Baidullaev - Vice-rector for International affairs, G. Shakarbekov - Head of the Department of international relations, and B. Karabaev - Director of the Center for long-life Education and world pedagogy. During the meeting, the issues of mutual cooperation in training of pedagogical and scientific-pedagogical staff and creation of network (joint programs) specialties in relevant areas were discussed. In particular the sides agreed on academic mobility among students and teachers, on organization of joint online conferences and summer schools (events). The Pskov State University delegation made presentations of master's programmes, in which graduates of TPSU can study on a budget and contractual basis.

At the end of the meeting, the sides discussed the process of updating and signing the Contract and drafting an action plan for further cooperation.
