HONORING WOMEN AND ACTIVISTS DURING THE CELEBRATION OF “MOTHER’S DAY”

As part of the event dedicated to “Mother’s Day,” a number of active women from the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Aini were recognized for their productive work in the fields of science and education, as well as for their significant contribution to the training of young specialists. They were awarded Certificates of Appreciation from the university rector, the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Executive Committee of the People’s Democratic Party of Tajikistan in the Ismoil Somoni district, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.

SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ON RABIA BALKHI HELD AT THE UNIVERSITY

At the initiative and with the direct support of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation, Emomali Rahmon, the 1050th anniversary of Rabia Balkhi was included in the UNESCO List of Anniversaries to be celebrated in 2026–2027 during the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference. This initiative is considered a sign of respect for the rich heritage of Tajik-Persian literature and for the role of women in the development of human culture and spirituality.

PUBLICATION OF A NEW TEXTBOOK IN THE FIELD OF PSYCHOLOGY

The textbook “Counseling Psychology”, authored by S. M. Saidmirova and A. I. Aminov, has been published. The book was released in the city of Dushanbe by the “Iste’dod” publishing house in 2026 and consists of 233 pages.

This publication was recommended for printing by the decision of the Board of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan on January 29, 2026, under No. 2/13.

The textbook is intended for students, degree seekers, postgraduate students, and doctoral candidates, as well as for teachers and psychologists. It can be used in the teaching process of psychological disciplines and psychological counseling in secondary and higher professional educational institutions. In addition, the book may also be interesting and useful for a wide range of readers.

NATIONAL CLOTHING — A SYMBOL OF BEAUTY AND NATIONAL PRIDE

Female students of the Faculty of Tajik Philology at the University enhanced the university’s atmosphere with special beauty and elegance by wearing beautiful national clothing. This initiative was organized with the aim of honoring national culture, reviving the noble traditions of ancestors, and promoting national clothing among young people.

National clothing, as a symbol of identity and national pride, further strengthens among students a sense of self-awareness and respect for national culture.
