HAPPY KNOWLEDGE DAY AND PEACE LESSON!
(Reflections on the speech of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year, the celebration of Knowledge Day, and the conduct of the Peace Lesson)
The speech of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, on the occasion of Knowledge Day and the Peace Lesson began with an analysis of the current geopolitical situation in the modern world, the strengthening of peace and stability in the global community, and the creation of a calm and secure environment for the development of various sectors of the country’s life-especially the education sector-and this was not without reason.
Peace is the foundation of a knowledge-based society, a factor in the survival and progress of humanity, and a key criterion for the advancement of science and education. Without peace, knowledge cannot thrive. Conversely, it is through the development of science and the continuous enhancement of knowledge that humanity ensures peace throughout the world. These concepts, being deeply interconnected, enrich the thinking of any rational individual.

CEREMONIAL EVENT DEDICATED TO THE DAY OF KNOWLEDGE AND THE LESSON OF PEACE
Today, a ceremonial event dedicated to the Day of Knowledge and the Lesson of Peace was held in the grand hall of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni.
The event was attended by Ahliddin Ibodullozoda - Rector of the University, Masrur Abdullozoda - Advisor to the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on Social Development and Public Relations, as well as members of the university administration, faculty, and students.

Today, the administration, faculty, and staff of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni watched the speech of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, delivered on the occasion of Knowledge Day and the Lesson of Peace.
This annual address by the Head of State, traditionally held at the start of the academic year, contains important political, social, and moral messages.

OPENING OF A NEW SCHOOL IN THE VILLAGE OF SAFEDTUNDAK, RASHT DISTRICT
In the village of Safedtundak, part of the Askalon rural community in the Rasht District, Primary School No. 103, which had been damaged by an earthquake, was completely rebuilt and officially opened for use.
This important initiative was carried out with financial support from the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after S. Ayni, the Tajik Technical University named after academician M. Osimi, the Tajik Agrarian University named after Sh. Shohtemur, and the Tajik State University of Finance and Economics.

DISCUSSION OF PRESSING UNIVERSITY ISSUES AT THE MEETING OF THE SCIENTIFIC-METHODOLOGICAL COUNCIL
On August 27, 2025, a meeting of the University's Scientific-Methodological Council was held under the leadership of the Council Chairman — Vice-Rector for Research, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor S.I. Rajabzoda. Four main issues were discussed during the meeting.
At the beginning of the session, the new composition of the University's Scientific-Methodological Council was approved. Then, after a comprehensive discussion, the work plan of the Scientific-Methodological Council for the 2025–2026 academic year was adopted. In addition, the Council Secretary, A. Hamroev, presented a report on the approval of the work plans of the faculty-level scientific-methodological councils and the methodological commissions of the university-wide departments for the new academic year.

A WELL-DESERVED ACHIEVEMENT AT THE REPUBLICAN CONTEST
Victory of Students and a Lecturer from the Tajik State Pedagogical University Named After S. Ayni at the City Stage of the “Furūgh-i Subḥi Dōnoyī Kitob Ast” Contest
On August 26, 2025, the award ceremony for the city stage of the Republican Contest "Furūgh-i Subḥi Dōnoyī Kitob Ast" (“The Radiance of the Dawn of Wisdom Is a Book”) was held at the State Institution “Children’s School of Arts named after Odina Hoshim” in Dushanbe. The event was attended by Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe, Dilbar Odilzoda, along with representatives of the city government.
With pride, it is announced that from the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni, three undergraduate students, one master’s student, and one lecturer became winners and prize recipients:
Nilufar Kholova – “Russian Language and Literature”, 1st place
Nurafshon Okilzoda – “Biology”, 2nd place
Omina Vahhobova – “Tajik Philology”, 3rd place
Farzona Samadova – Master’s student in “Russian Language and Literature”, 3rd place
Marvorid Boizoda – Lecturer at the Department of Pedagogy, 3rd place
The winners were awarded diplomas and cash prizes by the Dushanbe city administration.
This remarkable achievement highlights the university’s significant role in promoting literacy, reading culture, and education in society.
