As part of the official visit of the delegation of higher education leaders of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Kingdom, an important meeting was held with the leadership and faculty members of the Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Cambridge.
This faculty is one of the world’s leading academic centres for the study of the languages, literature, history, culture, and sociology of Asian and Middle Eastern countries. It possesses a rich academic base and a team of highly qualified international scholars. Researchers at the faculty conduct scientific work in various fields, including history, literature, linguistics, sociology, cultural studies, contemporary politics, and social anthropology.
