ORGANIZATION OF THE FIRST STAGE OF THE UNIVERSITY CONTEST "KNOWLEDGE OF FOREIGN LANGUAGES"
 On February 18, 2025, the first stage of the university contest "Knowledge of Foreign Languages" took place at the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni. The contest involved students from the 1st to the 5th years of study and specializations in linguistics and other fields from all faculties. It is worth noting that the contest covers 6 foreign languages: Russian, English, German, French, Chinese, and Korean.
The first stage of the contest featured a test competition, where students answered 50 questions related to vocabulary, grammar, and literature. The panel of judges consisted of professional teachers and foreign language instructors (native speakers).

REPUBLICAN CONFERENCE ON "THE RUSSIAN LANGUAGE IN THE MODERN EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC SPACE"
 At the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni, with the aim of implementing the "State Program for Improving the Teaching and Study of Russian and English Languages in the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030", on February 18 of this year, the Department of Modern Russian Language and General Linguistics of the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature organized a republican scientific-practical conference on the topic "The Russian Language in the Modern Educational and Scientific Space".

STRENGTHENING INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN SCIENCE
On February 17, 2025, the Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of the Tajik State Pedagogical University named after Sadriddin Ayni, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor Rajabzoda Sirojiddin Ikrom, met in Moscow with the Director of the Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor, and Corresponding Member of RAS, Alexander Olegovich Terentyev.

AHLIDDIN IBODULLOZODA ELECTED CHAIRMAN OF THE COUNCIL OF RECTORS
Today, February 15, 2025, the meeting of the Council of Rectors of higher professional education institutions of Tajikistan was held at the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M.S. Osimi. According to the agenda, the Council members elected a new chairman-Ahliddin Ibodullozoda.
