On November 3, 2025, as part of an official working visit by a delegation of rectors from professional higher education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan to the United Kingdom, a meeting was held with Dr. Gillian Tett, a representative of King’s College, University of Cambridge.

DISCUSSION OF KEY ISSUES OF THE SCIENCE DEPARTMENT AT THE REGULAR MEETING OF THE SCIENTIFIC COUNCIL
Today, under the leadership of the Vice-Rector for Science, Doctor of Chemical Sciences, Professor S. I. Rajabzoda, a regular meeting of the Scientific Council was held, during which five key issues were discussed.
Head of the Department of Science and Innovation, Farzona Abdujalilzoda, presented a report on the status of submission and approval of thesis topics for undergraduate and graduate students graduating in the 2025–2026 academic year. It was noted that out of 918 graduates, 450 have already approved their topics, and a one-week deadline was set for the approval of the remaining topics.

MEETING WITH THE LEADERSHIP OF UNIVERSITY COLLEGE LONDON (UCL)
On November 3, 2025, a group of rectors from higher professional education institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan, including Ahliddin Ibodullozoda — Rector of Tajik State Pedagogical University named after S. Ayni, Ubaidullo Asrorzoda — Rector of Tajik International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship, and Qurbonzoda Mahmadali — Rector of Bokhtar State University named after Nosiri Khusrav, held a productive meeting with the leadership of University College London (UCL) during their official visit to the United Kingdom.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the expansion of scientific and research cooperation, the establishment of joint educational programs, student and faculty exchanges, and the integration of UCL’s advanced educational practices into Tajikistan’s higher education system.
The UCL leadership expressed readiness to strengthen strategic relations with universities in Tajikistan, emphasizing that scientific and innovative collaboration with educational institutions in the region
